As one type of scientific meetings, a workshop enables smaller number (compared to other types) of participants to discuss and find practical solutions concerning some topic or activity. In discussion, the interchange of ideas is stressed, and the implementation of techniques, skills, etc. is demonstrated. Workshops organized by the Optical Society of Serbia are in the field of interst of the Society (optics, photonics and related disciplines). Compared to other scientific meeting in the field, the number of participants is smaller and often limited.
